Winner of the 2017 Michael Doherty Creative Writing Contest in Poetry

Amy Laprade is a local author who received her MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and has, for over ten years, taught creative writing in a variety of settings to students of many ages and backgrounds. Her work has appeared in Meat for Tea: the Valley Review, Canyon Voices and The Montague Reporter. In 2016, her debut novel, “So Nice to Finally Meet You…,” was published by Human Error Press.
