In celebration of the extraordinary successes of Greenfield Community College Alumni, GCC will confer two 2022 Distinguished Alumni Awards.

The annual Distinguished Alumni Award was established by the Greenfield Community College Alumni Association to recognize and honor alumni who have achieved substantial public recognition for their accomplishments or success. To be eligible for nomination, the nominee should have:

• Earned at least 15 credit hours at Greenfield Community College or earned a degree or certificate, and
• Earned the respect and trust of their associates in their chosen field, and
• Made substantial contributions to the good of their fellow human beings and
• Volunteered for organizations that promote the common good

The Young Alumni in Action Award will recognize an alumni age 35 or younger who has demonstrated quality volunteer involvement and emerging success in their chosen career. To be eligible for nomination, the nominee should have:

• Earned at least 15 credit hours at Greenfield Community College or earned a degree or certificate, and
• Volunteered for organizations that promote the common good and
• Made substantial contributions to the good of their fellow human beings

All nominations will be reviewed and selected by a diverse group of GCC faculty, staff alumni and community members. These two awards will be presented at the 60th Anniversary Celebration on September 24.
