Winter sowing is an easy, low-cost way to get a head start on spring gardening. In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to choose the best seeds for winter sowing, prepare containers (like milk jugs) and find the right spot and timing. Participants will prepare and plant their own containers. We’ll have a wide variety of perennial seeds to share—but feel free to bring some to contribute if you have some of your own! Free and open to the public, RSVP requested.
