While this idea came out of helping support gender non-conforming or trans students, it could also benefit any parent with small children, or folks who might need to bring an assistant into the bathroom. Currently, Massachusetts plumbing codes require that we have a certain number of female- and male-labeled bathrooms on campus, meaning we are not currently able to label every single-occupancy bathroom as gender neutral. Please note there is a lactation space available for nursing parents in C106 and E121A (request the key in E120). There are two multi-stall bathrooms on the first, second, third and fourth floors of the Core. These also contain changing areas, lockers and a shower. Air Fresheners/Chemical Sensitivity We recognize that visitors and members of our community may have chemical sensitivities. The following is a list of bathrooms with chemical air fresheners; all other bathrooms on campus are air-freshener free. Take exit 43 off I-91 and follow the traffic rotary to Route 2 west. Once on Route 2, take a right at the first traffic light onto Colrain Road. We are located on College Drive, six-tenths of a mile ahead on the left. Parking in Lot F is restricted during renovation of the south courtyard. The map below indicates recommended access routes to the main building from lots A and E.
