We use computerized placement tests to evaluate your English and mathematics ability. English placement scores do not expire, math placement scores expire after five years. Before enrolling into courses, the English placement tests can be taken three times and math twice. There is a calculator available inside the math test; handheld calculators and any other calculating devices or extra help (other than scarp paper) are not allowed during testing. Request an Appointment Testing Requirements Bring a photo ID with you on testing day. We will provide everything else! Please do not bring children with you because we have no facilities to take care of them and they are not allowed in the testing lab. Remote Testing To take the ACCUPLACER test remotely you will need A computer (desktop or laptop) connected to the internet; you cannot take the test on a phone. Check that your computer can run ACCUPLACER. You will need to use either Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge for a web browser (we do not recommend Safari).
