Celebrate National Poetry Month with a GCC poetry reading! GCC-affiliated poets share their work with the campus!

  • Gray Davidson Carroll is a GCC graduate and writer who hails from Philadelphia. They are the author of the poetry chapbook Waterfall of Thanks (Bottlecap Press, 2023), among other poetic and academic works.
  • L. Gibson is a poet and critic based in Greenfield. His books include the poetry volume Misherit (Haverthorn Press, 2019) and Freedom Reread, a critical study of Jonathan Franzen (Columbia University Press, 2023). L. is an academic counselor at GCC.
  • La Wanza Lett-Brewington is a local playwright and poet and Title IX coordinator and affirmative action officer at GCC.
    She is the author of Today is Your Day and Holding the Tears: Reflections & Voices of My People.
  • Adrie Rose is a GCC alum and poet who lives next to an orchard in western Massachusetts. She is the editor of Nine Syllables Press, and the author of I Will Write a Love Poem (Porkbelly Press, 2023) and Rupture (Gold Line Press, 2024).
  • Cindy Snow is a poet from Shelburne Falls. She is the author of the poetry chapbook Small Ceremonies (Slate Roof Press, 2016). Cindy is a peer tutoring program co-coordinator and an instructor in the English department at GCC.
