The Richard D. Little Geology Collection at Greenfield Community College houses thousands of specimens that tell the story of our planet, its life and history. It includes dinosaur footprints, fossil skeletons, mineral specimens from around the world, meteorites and geologic samples that highlight the history of the Pioneer Valley’s formation and an outdoor geology path.

Armored Mud Balls Armored mud balls are very rare, only being noted from about ten locations world-wide—and GCC is one of them!
