Six specimens of pyrite concretions. These are formed from iron and sulfur-rich mud. They each vary from shape to shape but relatively are the same size. All measurements were taken from the top left specimen, which had a specific gravity of 3, significantly lower than it is supposed to be, which is 5. The color is very vibrant and metallic.
