Self-service password recovery is only possible if security questions have been set up and an alternate email or mobile device has been verified previously in MyGCC.
If you are a student and have never logged into MyGCC and don’t know your password (which depends on when you were first accepted or attended GCC), or if you haven’t set up security questions and an alternate contact method, submit a support ticket, visit room N310 or call (413) 775-1350 for help.
If you have previously logged into MyGCC and set up security questions, you can reset your password on the MyGCC login screen by clicking on the link to the right of the SIGN IN MYGCC banner which reads “Need Help? Forgot Password?” This will pop up a button Reset your password which you can click on to proceed to reset your password. You will be prompted to answer your challenge questions and if you do so correctly, you will be able to reset your password. You will need your GCC username or Student ID to begin this process.
If you did not previously set up your security questions in MyGCC, you can request that IT reset your password for you by submitting a support ticket, visiting room N310 or calling (413) 775-1350 for help. IT will require you to verify your identity before resetting your password.
