Education Programming Intern Overview Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Greenfield, MA is seeking interns to assist in Educational Programming for male and female residents of the jail and house of corrections. Intern Responsibilities Depending on interest and experience, duties and responsibilities could include: One-on-one or small group tutoring Help maintaining in-house library and housing unit book carts Assisting teachers or co-teaching, contingent upon experience Proctoring testing sessions Helping with program administration, data-tracking, and paperwork Advising or mentoring students concerning educational or career goals Preferred Qualifications Proof of vaccination Pass a CORI check Attend 3-day training Ability to work in a locked facility Commitment to observing the rules of the agency Ability to self-regulate and reflect on personal responses to students, the environment, and the work Reliable, conscientious work ethic Hours Per Week 5-20 Desired Outcomes Duration of internship is negotiable, but a 6- week to 1-semester long commitment is desired Compensation Unpaid
