Tuition Waivers

For credit courses, tuition waivers and proof of eligibility must be submitted within 30 days of the start of the semester.

Students who meet specific eligibility categories, such as eligible veterans, Native Americans, active members of the Armed Forces and certain other groups identified by the Massachusetts Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) may receive "categorical" waivers. Documentation of eligibility must be provided; consult OSFA for more information.

For most waivers, fees (including but not limited to college services fees and special class/program fees) are not reduced. Some waivers are subject to approval based on seating availability. Additional restrictions apply for waivers for seniors. The value of a tuition waiver or combination of tuition waivers cannot exceed the total cost of tuition.
