Using Zoom for Candidate Interviews at GCC

Zoom iconSince 2019, Greenfield Community College has been using Zoom for several purposes, including to interview candidates who are unable to travel to campus. We suggest installing the Zoom client and practicing (using the link in step #3) prior to connecting to a meeting for an interview:

  1. Download the Zoom client from https://zoom.us/support/download.
  2. Install the Zoom client following the prompts.
  3. Use the site Zoom provides to connect to the test meeting. (You can connect as often as you need to test your audio and video and to practice launching the client to connect to meetings.)
  4. At the time of the interview, follow the link in the email that you received indicating the meeting date and time.
  5. The client will open the meeting.
  6. Click to connect to the meeting using your computer audio.
  7. Click the button in the bottom left to start your video.
