Are you on the journey of recovery, thinking about recovery, or are in any way affected by addiction or trauma? The Community Resource Studio in E101 provides a safe haven for students to be vulnerable with peers and gain wisdom from those who may be experiencing similar journeys. We understand that a network of support is necessary for an individual to achieve goals and create sustainable changes in life. Organizations from Western Massachusetts share space in the studio during fall and summer semesters to provide additional support to GCC students. When the space is not in use by one of these organizations, students can feel free to use it for quiet study and reflection. The studio features a Netflix-enabled television, printer and laptop for student use, and helpful reading material and information. Resource Studio services are available to current students at no cost. Student use of services and any information a student shares in meetings will be treated with strict confidentiality. When space is not in use by one of our partner organizations, students can: Study or reflect on the couches Relax and watch Netflix on the smart TV Use the printer or laptop Pick up helpful reading material and community resource brochures Events Recovery Meeting Thursday, April 9 12:00 PM–1:00 PM E101 Community Support Studio Recovery Meeting Thursday, April 16 12:00 PM–1:00 PM E101 Community Support Studio Recovery Meeting Thursday, April 23 12:00 PM–1:00 PM E101 Community Support Studio Recovery Meeting Thursday, April 30 12:00 PM–1:00 PM E101 Community Support Studio Recovery Meeting Thursday, May 7 12:00 PM–1:00 PM E101 Community Support Studio Self-Help Resources recoverproject.org Extensive guide to local and regional addiction and social services supports mass211.org Referral to basic needs and social service agencies hampshirehope.org Regional organization providing information on overdose prevention, recovery services, local resources, and tips for loved ones
