CLEP Exams

College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams are tests that cover material taught in courses that one may generally take in the first two years of college. By passing a CLEP exam students may earn varying amounts of college credits at the cost of $87 per exam. Veterans and military personnel may be eligible to take exams for free or be reimbursed for the cost. Additional information is available here.

CLEP exams eligible for GCC credit

Students who wish to take CLEP exams must register online at clep.collegeboard.org. The CLEP testing location nearest to GCC is at Holyoke Community College.

In order to get transfer credit for CLEP exams, students need to have an official copy of their test scores sent to GCC. Information about ordering scores can be found here. GCC's four digit number is 3420.
