We help you develop career plans and goals, conduct occupation research, find job openings, prepare job search documents and provide Section 30/TOP guidance

Community Engagement

Mentorship for students providing support, encouragement and advice based on lived experience; weekly recovery meetings; lifelong learning and personal enrichment workshops (not for credit)

Disability Services

Verifies student eligibility for accommodations; coordinates accommodations across campus; refers & connects students to community resources; provides consultation and training about disabilities for faculty and staff

Fitness Center

One-on-one fitness coaching (planning, technique & meeting goals); Precor treadmill, elliptical, bike, & stepper; rowing machine; cable-assisted machines & Smith machine; full Olympic setups (x2) with bumper plates & Hexbar; stretching/mobility area with TRX; kettlebells, dumbbells (5-75lbs), ropes, & parallettes

Food Pantry/Corner Market

Food pantry and snack station with perishable, non-perishable and personal care items; grab-and-go bags; grocery store gift cards for qualified patrons; resources to support immediate and long-term food needs

Health Records

Verifies and helps students in compliance with Department of Public Health (DPH) and program-related immunization requirements; provides copies of health records as requested by students; lock boxes for confidential drop located outside of C103 and N348

Library

The library provides laptops and wifi hotspots; course textbooks and book scanners to copy needed material; and a variety of other digital and print resources. Librarians can help navigate college technology, including Moodle, and help you successfully complete research projects—from picking a topic through to citation issues. The Library also issues student identification cards.

Math Studio

Faculty and student support from beginning level to advance courses; in-person and virtual support available via Zoom

Peer Tutoring

Peer tutoring is free and available to any GCC student. Tutors help other students tackle course material, understand concepts, hone writing skills, improve study strategies and much more. Tutors cover most courses, and appointments can be in person M-F or virtual seven days a week, including evenings.
