Environmental Accommodations Overview Environmental accommodations or mobility access accommodations can include: Preferential seating Occasional breaks during class Wheelchair accessible classroom/lab/activity space Wheelchair accessible desk/workstation Alternative seating Modified requirements for classroom participation Tips for using Environmental Accommodations Contact Disability Services as soon as possible after you have scheduled classes each semester to review the spaces you will be using, so that arrangements can be planned for accommodation needs, such as furniture moves.
