In September 2021, all of the Massachusetts Community Colleges announced a system-wide vaccine requirement for students and employees set to take effect in January 2022. This requirement has been crafted in consultation with stakeholders across all community colleges in the Commonwealth, and it is being put in place to increase the health and safety of our learning and working environments in the face of the continuing public health crisis.

This policy requires GCC employees to provide written proof of full vaccination status by January 3, 2022.
