Research Across the Curriculum is a 3-day professional development program to help faculty integrate information literacy and research skills into their courses. This year's workshop will be held June 1-3, 2026 and will be substantially different from previous years. We'll be going in-depth into information literacy in the age of AI, centering around Mike Caulfield's SIFT method (Stop, Investigate, Find better coverage, Trace claims). Each participant will receive a copy of Verified by Mike Caulfield and Sam Wineburg. We'll talk about ethical issues with AI & education and practice using AI-assisted search to find and evaluate information.
