Films & Video Streaming Video Please note! If you are off-campus, you will need to have a GCC library card to access our streaming film and video databases. Academic Video Online (Alexander Street) - Educational videos (documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs and newsreels, demonstrations, and more) spanning a wide range of subject areas. Films on Demand Streaming Video Collection - Educational videos in the humanities and social sciences. Kanopy Streaming Film Collection - Feature films and documentaries, including many titles from the Media Education Foundation. DVD and VHS You can search in our Library Catalog for both our DVD and VHS collections. Use the "All Formats" dropdown menu to search for a particular format. Our DVDs circulate to students for 2 days and to faculty/staff for 2 weeks. Community members may watch our DVDs in the library but cannot take them home. You can also search the catalog for DVDs available in other libraries in our network, by using the "GCC Library" dropdown menu to select "All C/W MARS Libraries." DVDs from other libraries can be shipped to GCC for free for pickup. Just like Netflix, for free!
