  • USB ports (Windows laptops have USB-C; Macs, Chromebooks, and library desktops have USB 2.0)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Media players/readers for all programs used by GCC's Moodle
  • Read & Write Gold screen reading and dictation software
  • Other Windows and Mac built-in assistive technology (i.e. screen magnification, color adaptations, etc.)

Take-Home Technology

The following items are available to take home from the library. These items are available for current GCC students while enrolled in a course with library cards in good standing. Students can pick up technology one week before classes start.

In-Library Technology

Free printing and wireless internet access is available throughout the library. Specially trained technology assistants are available at the front desk to help you. All library desktops have:

  • Connection to the public printer for single or double-sided printing
  • Internet access
  • USB ports (laptops have USB-C, desktops have USB 2.0)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
