Absences may jeopardize academic status and financial aid in addition to lowering grades. Individual instructors and program coordinators have the authority to establish attendance standards appropriate for their courses. At the beginning of each semester you must clearly explain to students your policy regarding attendance. Your attendance policy must be included in the course syllabus provided to students.

PLEASE NOTE: Faculty must be able to provide, via class rosters, the last date of attendance for students receiving financial aid who stop attending classes without officially withdrawing.
