Although regular class attendance is expected, there is no college-wide attendance policy. Absences may jeopardize academic status and financial aid in addition to lowering grades. Individual instructors and program coordinators have the authority to establish attendance standards appropriate for their courses. At the beginning of each semester you must clearly explain to students your policy regarding attendance. This information must be included in the course syllabus.

Faculty must be able to provide the last date of attendance for students receiving financial aid who stop attending classes without officially withdrawing.
