Visiting Writer: Brett Stanciu

GCC's English Department is pleased to host visiting writer Brett Ann Stanciu for a reading and Q&A. Stanciu is the author of Call It Madness (2026), Unstitched: My Journey to Understand Opioid Addiction (2021), and Hidden View (2015). A recipient of two Vermont Arts Council Creation Grants and a 2025 Pushcart Prize nominee, her work has been recognized as a 2025 Isele Magazine Top Ten Read. Free and open to the public.

Student Symposium

The GCC Student Symposium celebrates outstanding achievements in research, professional development and creative expression. Participants showcase capstone projects from participating courses, as well as independent projects undertaken in any GCC class, internship or clinical/off-site placement. We welcome a diverse array of creative projects—including writing, studio arts, musical performance and drama, all contributing to a vibrant showcase of student talent.
