We have a variety of projects available, depending on your skills and interests. We are seeking interns for Marketing, Fundraising, Food Processing, Food Systems, Business Planning and Development. While most internships involve a certain amount of administrative support to staff projects, there are plenty of opportunities to tailor a project to fit your own specific interests and needs for independent study.

Intern responsibilities

We will design a plan with you for your individual internship, but we require interns to be responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor and to be sensitive to the confidentiality of much of our data.
While we can be flexible about scheduling, we do need interns to keep to a schedule. Our office is open from 9 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday.
Interns are encouraged to give a final project or presentation of their experiences to staff.

Required intern qualifications

Excellent organizational and communication skills – written and verbal
Ability to keep information confidential
Friendly, able to work with a wide variety of people
Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
