Overview

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Opportunity Program is a workforce development initiative offered through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC) that focuses on enhancing the talent pipeline for Massachusetts companies engaged in the clean energy industry. The program provides paid internship opportunities for college students and recent graduates at Massachusetts-based clean energy companies. Since 2011, the program has placed 395 students and recent graduates in internships at more than 110 clean energy companies across the state. As a result of the internship program, over 40 students gained full-time and part-time employment at their host companies.
