Library Technology

Laptop computer, pencil, and paper sit on top of a deskFree printing and wireless internet access is available throughout the library. Specially trained technology assistants are available at the front desk to help you.

All library computers have the following:

  • USB ports (laptops have USB-C, desktops have USB 2.0)
  • Connection to the public printer for single or double-sided printing
  • Internet access
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Media players/readers for all programs used by GCC’s Moodle
  • Read & Write Gold screen reading and dictation software
  • Other Windows and Mac built-in assistive technology (i.e. screen magnification, color adaptations, etc.)

Take-Home Technology

The following items are available to take home from the library. These items are available for current GCC students with library cards in good standing.

In-Library Technology
