In-Library Technology

Wi-Fi, desktop computers, printing and scanning are available to the campus community and the public during our regular operating hours.

Standard Desktop Computer Software and Features

All library desktop computers include:

  • Connection to our public printers
  • High-speed internet access
  • USB 2.0 ports
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Media players/readers for all programs used by GCC’s Moodle
  • Read&Write Gold screen-reading and dictation software
  • Built-in Windows and Mac assistive technology (screen magnification, color contrast adaptations, etc.)

Borrowing Eligibility & Guidelines

  • Available to currently enrolled GCC students with library accounts in good standing
  • Devices can be picked up starting one week before classes begin
  • A photo ID is required at check-out
