Labor Market Information

An essential piece of the career/education decision puzzle.

Labor market information (LMI) is the result of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, according to the LMI Institute. LMI can be used by students to make more informed plans, choices, and decisions related to education, employment and the workforce.

Please keep in mind that LMI data change more dramatically than usual as a result of the pandemic.  Therefore, predictive accuracy of LMI might be reduced as a result of these dramatic changes.

This table by the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics is a great example of LMI:

The MassHire Franklin Hampshire Workforce Board (MHFHWB) is the authority, when it comes to creating and providing labor market information for our region.
