Financial Aid from federal, state, and private sources is available to assist students in the nursing program to meet their educational expenses. The college participates in all of the major federal programs, including the Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Work-Study and Stafford Loan Programs. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has provided additional scholarship assistance and allowed the college to waive the tuition of some students with financial need.

Awards from all of these programs are based solely on a student’s demonstrated financial need. The Nursing Program and the GCC Foundation are proud to offer a variety of scholarships to nursing students including through the Jean Simmons Endowed Chair fund. Scholarships are available for both the PN and AD Program as well as to those who wish to continue on to obtain their bachelor’s degree in nursing.
