Exemptions for nursing courses are not permitted.

Students are eligible to request an exemption for non-nursing courses in accordance with the GCC’s transfer policies. Information regarding exemption and which courses are accepted can be found in CLEP exams and under currency exams. A request for a general education course exemption must be accompanied by documents to support the request and submitted for approval to the Office of Admission.

Students seeking an exemption for non-nursing courses must contact their advisor for guidance on eligibility and the course exemption. Any student wishing to use a course exemption must have the exam completed and passed prior to the semester that the course would run concurrently.
